ทั้ง3แบบนี้ ใช้ในความหมายว่า ".......ไม่........อีกต่อไปแล้ว"
สามารถเลือกใช้ได้ตามถนัด บางคนชอบใช้ any more และ any longer เพราะบอกว่าง่ายดี เพียงแต่เติมท้ายประโยคปฏิเสธนั้นๆลงไป บางคนบอกว่า ชอบ no longer บอกว่าน่าใช้กว่า เพียงเอาไปแทรกในประโยค ทั้งนี้ก็แล้วแต่ ผู้เขียนไม่วิจารณ์ อยู่ที่ความพึงพอใจของแต่ละคน ประมาณว่า เมิ่อพูดประโยคว่า "ฉันไม่มีเวลาเจียดให้คุณได้เที่ยวที่ตลาดน้ำเลยนะ (รีบพาไปขึ้นรถไฟ)" ก็มีพูดต่างๆกันไป คือ " I haven't any spare time for you to visit the floating market." , " I haven't got any spare time for you to visit the floating market." , " I don't have any spare time for you to visit the floating market." และ " I have no spare time for you to visit the floating market."
